Vampires

What do you say about vampires? are they real or just a fictional character? There are many stories about them in which some are known to be beautiful creatures, or very ugly.

Vampires have apparently existed for as long as man has. The lore of these creatures begins in the Bible oddly enough. Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Abel was the first born and was favored by his parents and Cain was the stronger of the two. One day, Cain tried to kill Abel. God saw Cain and damned him marking him with '666' the number of the devil. It is said that all vampires are the descendents of Cain.

Now, if you have ever searched on the web for vampires, you will find a whole list of sites dedicated to real vampires. And I have spoken to people who know real vampires too. So i suppose there are vampires out there, i believe their just humans who drink other humans blood, and don't have super human strength.

Here is some more information:

Vampires, whether made or born, do not reincarnate - they just die. Also, vampires do not need to breath in the same sense as humans do. As we all know, humans take in oxygen through their lungs - vampires do not. Instead, they drink blood and in the process acquire human blood cells, which have oxygen in it. They may eat regular food, however there is no nutritional value in it. Blood is everything for them, the more blood - the more power.

Vampires can hear and see better than humans, not to mention they are faster with better reflexes. They have more control over their bodies, can walk around in daylight {a vampire's powers are weaker during the day} and can heal from almost any kind of injury - unless it was made from wood.

All have some level of telepathy, Some are stronger, of course, and speak clearly to others over great distances. This particular 'power' allows vampires to influence and read minds. Also, there are minds that are capable of resisting a vampire's influences.

It is thought that they can turn in to bats and be afraid of crosses and garlic. Also, like everyone knows, humans can be changed in to a vampire when bitten. But I'm not sure why the whole world aren't vampires yet.
